Convincing Bundesliga goalkeeper To Join Super Eagles Will Be Difficult - NFF

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has said it will be difficult to convince Germany born goalkeeper Noah Atubolu to play for the Super Eagles.

According to Germany-based journalist Oma Akatugba,. Nigeria head coach Jose Peseiro didn't know about Noah Atubolu and his eligibility to represent Nigeria before hand.

Noah Atubolu (born 25 May 2002) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Bundesliga club SC Freiburg. (According to Wikipedia)

It is now difficult to convince the 21-year-old who was in action last weekend for Germany U-21 during a Euro Qualification match.

Although he is still eligible to play for the Super Eagles considering the fact that he has not played for the Germany senior team, it is left to be seen whether he will choose Nigeria over the Football giant Germany.

Nigeria needs a good hand in the goalkeeping department in build up to the 2023 AFCON coming up in Ivory coast early next year considering the series of blunders by Uzoho who is the current number one.

However, Peseiro has sent scouts to reach out to the kid and see what's obtainable.
