After conceding a last minute equaliser against the Falcons of Saudi Arabia on Friday, Nigeria's Super Eagles defeated Mambas of Mozambique 3-2 in an international friendly staged at the Estádio Municipal de Albufeira on Monday evening.

gaantfootball.com presents five observation in the Super Eagles' game against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.

1. Super Eagles keep conceding

Despite the victory over Mambas of Mozambique, the Super eagles conceded two goals, making it 4 goals conceded in two games. Under Jose Peseiro, Nigeria's Super Eagles kept only three clean cheats in twelve games, two against Sao Tome and one against Guinea- Bissau.

2. Super Eagles Win at last

After the Win against Mozambique, Nigeria ended the winless run of fifteen games in friendly games, Nigeria last victory came in 2019 against Egypt in Asaba.

3. No victory against Non Africa team since Iceland in 2018

The game against Falcons of Saudi Arabia presents an opportunity for the Super Eagles to record a victory over a Non African team but conceded an injury time equaliser against Saudi Arabia. Since 2018 World Cup in Russia when Nigeria played against Iceland (European team) ,the Eagles failed to record victories against Ukraine, Brazil, Mexico, Ecuador, Costa Rica and Portugal.

4. Uzoho did not cover himself in glory

Not the best time for him in the Super Eagle's shirt and I think he needs a break.

5 Peseiro still not sure of his starting X1

The Portuguese manager, ahead of the AFCON, wanted to run the rule over several players, a decision that saw him field an experimental XI and bench some of his key players.
