Gift Orban missing as NFF release Squad to face Mozambique and Saudi Arabia

The Super Eagles Squad that will be playing against Mozambique and the Falcons of Saudi Arabia in the international friendly games set for October has been revealed.

The Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) have released a squad of 25 players for the international friendly games against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique later this month.

The list features newbie like Hatayspor star Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, who has had an impressive season with Turkish side Hatayspor, registering four goals and two assists in seven appearances. The 22-year-old’s brilliance has earned him a place in coach Jose Peseiro’s team.

Meanwhile, Gent star Gift Orban has not been called up. In his place, Nice star Terem Moffi has been called to the team after he was left out for the last game against Sao Tome and Principe. However, his teammate, Jordan Torunarigha kept his place on the team.

Meanwhile regular faces like Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, Ademola Lookman, Taiwo Awoniyi, Wilfred Ndidi and Moses Simon were not left out.

According to the NFF, the camp will open on the 10th of October in Faro, Portugal. The game against Saudi Arabia will take place on the 13th of October before playing Mozambique three days later.
