If Victor does not sign for us , life goes on - De Laurentiis

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has stated that he won't be moved if Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen refuse to sign a new deal with the Italian giant.

As seen on the X (formerly Twitter) page of the veteran Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano, De Laurentiis boasted that he sold Senegalese Captain Koulibaly one year before end of his deal.

Napoli president De Laurentiis on Osimhen: “We verbally agreed on new deal in August, then if things change on his side… life goes on”.

“Victor’s contract expires in June 2025, there’s always time”.

“Remember… I sold Koulibaly to Chelsea one year before end of his deal”.

Victor Osimhen currently earns around €9 million (just shy of $10m) a season and his contract expires in June 2025.

It can be said that the relationship between the former Lille striker and his club has not been the same since the Mocking video posted by the admin of the club's Tiktok page.

Different clubs are monitoring the situation at the moment as Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea and Newcastle United have all been mentioned as potential destinations in the past.

Osimhen, valued at €110m by Napoli has been the subject of transfer talks from England in recent times.

Spanish giant Real Madrid is also not left out in the race for the signature of the Nigerian Forward.

The Nigerian star is currently injured after sustaining an injury when he was on action for his motherland in an International Friendly against Saudi Arabia.

It is left to be seen whether he will sign a new deal with Italian giant or not.
