Napoli send new message to Chelsea over Victor Osimhen transfer

Napoli have recently communicated to Chelsea their willingness to reconsider their initial asking price for Victor Osimhen, as reported by sources in Italy. The Serie A club, led by president Aurelio de Laurentiis, have made a decision to allow Osimhen to depart during this upcoming transfer window. However, De Laurentiis is adamant about a potential suitor activating the €130m (£110.8m) release clause attached to the Nigeria international's contract.

Several top clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, and Paris Saint-Germain, have expressed their interest in acquiring Osimhen's services. Despite this, none of these clubs have shown a willingness to meet Napoli's valuation of the player.

This situation has placed Napoli in a challenging position, as they had anticipated Osimhen's transfer fee to play a crucial role in balancing their summer transfer budget, which notably includes a significant deal for Romelu Lukaku. The club is now faced with the task of finding a resolution that satisfies both their financial requirements and the aspirations of the player in question.
